The Athletics Department is offering the convenience of online registration through FamilyID, also known as ArbiterSports®.
The New Hartford Central School District’s Intent to Participate Registration for 2024 fall sports was open May 28 through June 13.
The Intent to Participate Registration is the first step in the registration process. It is intended to indicate students’ interests so that the district can plan accordingly.
Final registration will take place within 30 days of the start of the season and require individuals to login to FamilyID to provide additional student health information, per New York State law.
Formal registration for 2024 fall sports:
- Varsity Football – July 20
- Varsity/JV sports – July 27
- Modified sports – August 4
All students participating in school sports must have a yearly physical. Sports physicals are also offered at all schools during the school year. These dates are noted throughout the district calendar, but are subject to change. Please contact your building nurse to be sure of the dates. In addition to the yearly physical, a health history form must be completed and signed by a parent/guardian within 30 days of the start of each sports season.

Families will be notified by FamilyID (ArbiterSports) 30 days prior to the expiration date of the physical.
FamilyID is a secure registration platform that provides you with an easy, user-friendly way to sign up your child or children for a sport and submit the necessary paperwork. It also helps us to be more administratively efficient and environmentally responsible. When you register through FamilyID, the system keeps track of your information in your FamilyID profile. You will enter your information only once for each family member for multiple uses and multiple sports.
