Voters approve 2023-24 budget proposal

On May 16, New Hartford Central School District voters approved the district’s $62,818,363 2023-24 budget proposal, elected one board of education member and approved the purchase of five new student transportation vehicles.

The budget proposition passed with 76.9% voter approval641 yes votes and 193 no votes. The results include absentee ballots.

Purchasing four new school buses and one suburban at a total cost not to exceed $683,077:  658 yes; 172 no
