Starting Nov. 15, New Hartford Senior High School’s athletic stadium will be closed as turf field and track replacement work begins. The stadium will remain closed for approximately three weeks and is tentatively scheduled to reopen in early December after work is complete.

The work is part of the New Hartford Central School District’s capital improvement project, which was approved by voters in December 2021.

The capital improvement project also includes additional improvements to the Senior High School athletic stadium and facilities, renovations and upgrades at Perry Junior High School, and re-roofing at Hughes and Myles elementary schools. The total project is anticipated to be completed in 2025.
