New Hartford voters approve 2022-23 budget
On Tuesday, May 17, voters in New Hartford Central School District passed a $57,827,097 proposed budget for the 2022-23 school year by a vote of 1,254 (YES) to 406 (NO), an approval rating of 76%
“Thank you to all of the community members who voted,” said Superintendent Dr. Cosimo Tangorra. “This budget enables us to continue to support the excellent course offerings and extracurricular activities that have helped to make New Hartford one of the leading districts in the state.”
The voters also approved a $554,000 bus proposition by a vote of 1,242 (YES) to 411 (NO).
Voters elected Nicole Goodelle and Michelle Parker to fill two five-year terms on the New Hartford Board of Education.
