He spent his Fall 2011 semester studying in Siena, Italy.  In 2014 Matteo, a calf roping enthusiast, earned a Master of Letters (M.Litt) degree from St Andrews University in Scotland. He currently teaches AP European History and Global History 10 in the Ithaca City School District in Ithaca, NY.
