Ms. Lafayette is an art teacher at E.R Hughes and Myles Elementary Schools in the New Hartford Central School District.  A graduate of Milton Jr./Sr. High School in Vermont, she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Art with a 5th year Certificate in Elementary Education from the University of Vermont.  Ms. Lafayette later earned a Master's Degree from Utica College in Inclusive Education. She has been teaching in New Hartford for 15 years and previously taught in Highgate, Vermont for two years.  Ms. Lafayette loves teaching the students of New Hartford and seeing the creative processes come to life in their wonderful artwork!!
