Hi there, welcome to my page! I grew up locally and went to school in the Holland Patent Central School District. I completed both my bachelor's and master's degrees in social work at Nazareth College in Rochester. During my time in college, I interned in the Rochester City School District and participated in Wayne County Community Schools’ Mental Health Demonstration (MHD) Project. In Wayne County, I worked at Lyons Elementary School in Lyons, NY. Both of these internship experiences only reiterated my passion for working with children and helping them realize their full potential by supporting their unique interests. My favorite thing about being a school social worker is getting to know each of my kids and then creating fun, interactive activities to help them achieve their goals. I love the work that I do and am so excited to share my ideas and support with the New Hartford community!
Outside of school, I love visiting the ocean, warm weather, reading, working out at the gym, watching movies, and spending time with friends and family. I used to play soccer and run track and even though I don’t do either anymore, I still enjoy watching both. I also enjoy doing various arts and crafts, so I try to bring that into my work as much as possible. I am very social and love getting to meet new people. My office will have an “open door policy,” so please never hesitate to call, email, or just come say hi!
