My name is Terra McDermott and I teach special education at Hughes ElementarySchool. 

Prior to teaching in New Hartford, I was a kindergarten teacher in the Central Valley School District. I also have over 10 years of expereince teaching special education from my time in the Frankfort-Schuyler and Saratoga Springs school districts.

I am a graduate of New Hartford High School and my two children currently attend schools in the district.
