DELTA - Developing Exceptional Learning Techniques and Activities
The New Hartford Central School District offers academic enrichment opportunities for students in grades one through six through our DELTA enrichment program. Students who are highly proficient in reading or math may qualify each for DELTA Reading and DELTA STEM by meeting district-determined criteria.
DELTA STEM engages students in science, technology, engineering and math tasks such as computer coding, engineering design, and problem-solving. In DELTA Reading, students participate in book discussions and create multimedia projects as they read high-quality and award-winning books.
Mrs. Kathy Donovan is our DELTA STEM teacher and our elementary Library Media Specialists teach DELTA Reading: Mrs. Amy Tallman (Myles), Mrs. Adrienne Ciampi (Bradley), and Mrs. Jennifer King (Hughes).
Use the links below to find out more about DELTA or contact your child’s building principal if you have questions about our DELTA program.
